26 March, Outside Of Kindred

Rode home with my friend Ryan today. We drove up this large hill in the middle of nowhere, thinking it would have an amazing view from the other side. It didn't - at least not what we were hoping... but we did stop and take some pictures.

21 March, New Hospital Crane

They are putting up a new hospital in town, and as I was driving home I saw this crane at the end of a very long street. I waited and waited and waited for the street to become empty...... and got quite a few odd looks from the neighbors as I sat in my car.

20 March, The Day Before Spring

This was taken yesterday, while I was at work. I wanted to get some of the larger snowflakes that first started falling, but thought that I could wait 4 more minutes until my break to step outside. Unfortunately, in that 4 minutes the silver dollar sized snowflakes turned into dime sized. Darn.

Next time, I will try with a faster shutter speed, and close my aperture a little more, try to get some more detail. (Next time? Hah! Hopefully this isn't till the end of 2014!).

14 March, The Drive Home

The drive home. Unfortunately you're always in a hurry to get home on a Friday when you drive 1.25 hours to and from work 5 days a week.....

12 March, A Favorite Picture Blog

It's getting closer to Friday, and I'm itching to get out my camera and take some pictures.

Why nothing earlier?

Well, I work 8 hour days and it's a 1.5 hour drive, in a carpool, to get to work... so that's an 11-12 hour day depending on the weather!

Add that to having three boys at home, and I rarely have an opportunity to spend a few hours out and about.

But, to the off chance someone accidentally stumbles onto this blog, here is a link to a fantastic photography blog:

Enjoy, and I'll see you on Friday!

....

Ahh shucks. Here's a quick one from last week that I love but didn't post. It keeps reminding me that winter is almost over!

7 March, Downtown Fargo

Welcome, I suppose, to my first post.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing with photography, other than having fun :)
